How It Works

Following your SkinPen® EVO treatment, your skin may feel warm and appear pink or red, similar to a mild sunburn. This is a normal part of the skin's natural healing response and typically settles within 24–72 hours.

To support optimal healing and results:

  • Keep your skin clean and avoid touching the treated area unnecessarily.

  • Use only the recommended post-treatment skincare provided by your clinician for the first 24 hours.

  • Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours.

  • Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and swimming for 24–48 hours.

  • Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs), and vitamin C until your skin has fully recovered.

  • Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ daily and minimise direct sun exposure for at least one week.

  • Keep your skin well hydrated with a gentle moisturiser and avoid picking or exfoliating any dry or flaky skin.

Your skin will continue to repair and regenerate over the following weeks as new collagen is produced, with improvements becoming more noticeable over time.
